I try and have the solution be simply platforming if applicable, meaning that my solution is usually NOT what the developers intended. This game's puzzles can have more than 1 solution but the stars can have many. The solutions written below is what I personally find to be the easiest way of getting the stars. You will be stealing tools from other puzzles, breaking the rules of the game and just doing a wide array of shenanigans to get these yellow shiny collectibles.
