ITS NOTHING BUT SCAM AFTER SCAM AFTER SCAM. Ever since they got the STD (space disease known as Discovery) its been a total cash grab of pay to win credit card commandos, you get lousy ships unless you pay AT LEAST 30 dollars per ship and they have to spend at least 100 dollars more to get the gear to configure it. This game has turned into a total rip off the way Evony was before it was deservedly shut down. As far as I am concerned they are nothing but a big organized rip off that should be shut down for credit card fraud. Even when they document that a bug did occur and they have other victims they dont replace what you lose. Worst of all is their credit card transactions are not reliable and the zen points you pay for just randomly disappear and all you get back from customer service is LIP SERVICE. Constantly updating the same stuff again and again. MASSIVE amounts of crashing completely, often in the middle of something you spent hours on. Then the big picture kicks in and it really starts to suck. Its not getting better, its getting worse, a lot worse. Iv'e watched this game for a few years on and off while playing others that are far more stable and less greedy/grindy.

I literally have code in the very first MMO type game that only military and DARPA researchers had access to. Ive been gaming since before most people knew what a computer was and Ive only seen worse ONCE in the history of gaming. As a rule I figure people will figure it out themselves in no time but twice now Ive seen things bad enough that I feel people should be warned in advance. As a rule I figure people will figure it out themselves in no time but twice now Ive seen things bad I generally dont write game reviews. The game is fun though, i was really looking forward to it, Cryptic has wasted this IP and it saddens me greatly. Its worth the $50, play through the game, probably about a 50 hour game at the most, once you hit Admiral there is literally nothing to do, at all, t he game is finished, sit in a 2-3 hour PVP que, or start another charcter. Expect a few 29.99 "expansions" which really should of been included in the release, such as playable other factions. Trekies will always give it a 10, but even they will begin to dwindle away after 3 or 4 months, the game will be dead before the end of summer. With such huge potential such as a star trek MMO, Cryptic has really messed up this IP, and no-body will try it ever again, atari will hold onto it and never let anyone make a finished game. The Klingons are not even close to being finished. The people here giving it 10's are crazy. The content is repetitive The game deserve about a 6, it is not finished, plain and simple.
